I am an architectural photographer in love with light. I was born and raised in the north of Spain, in a small town near the cosmopolitan city of Bilbao. It is a region in which the sun is caught by the rain that hits the rough sea and its cliffs, a landscape full of vegetation, but almost always in shadows.
Looking for the light, that light that shines on my photography, I arrived in California and stayed in Los Angeles. This is now my place, where blue always gives me the clarity I am looking for, and the climate allows me to work with total freedom of movement. Here, buildings have room to grow, and I evolve with them.
Having a degree in Audiovisual Communication with a specialty in film and video, I can offer my clients a dynamic perspective, beyond what you find in a static photograph. My images have movement because that is how I understand them. My fascination with cinema from an early age has a lot to do with this.
I have always felt that the best way to nurture my soul as a photographer is to fill my mind with inspiring images through travel and working in different places.
For 20 years I worked in London, Milan, Paris, Madrid, and Barcelona, cities full of architecture, history, and learning. From my beginnings as a photographer for a well-known concert hall in Barcelona, through the world of fashion and its catwalks, as a photographer and also as an editor, I grew to love architectural photography and interiors around 2011. I discovered the light sneaking through the spaces, and since then I have never stopped chasing it.
